A comprehensive view of each patient. A more organized practice.

Oolara brings together patient histories, questionnaires and laboratory results to support personalized care and continuity over time. Scheduling, clinical documents, inventory, payments and invoicing remain connected within one platform.

Understanding patients begins with understanding their context.

Medical history, nutrition, sleep, environment and daily habits provide relevant context for clinical assessment. Oolara helps organize this information around each patient through configurable clinical histories and questionnaires that patients can complete before their appointment. Clinicians review and supplement the information, applying their own clinical judgment.

  1. Before the appointment

Patients complete the history sections and questionnaires enabled by their care team through the practice's patient portal.

  2. During the visit

Clinicians review the information collected, document their assessment and prepare care instructions.

  3. Throughout follow-up

New questionnaires and laboratory reports remain alongside previous ones to review the patient's progress over time.

A day in the practice.

From preparation to the visit, to follow-up and the end of the day.

  1. 07:50

The clinical history is already completed.

Days earlier, the patient answered the sections you enabled and their questionnaires from the patient portal. When you open the visit, it is all in the record.

  2. 08:30

    The appointment is confirmed.

Yesterday the reminder went out automatically by email and, depending on your plan, by WhatsApp with your logo pilot. The patient replied with one tap and the appointment was confirmed in your schedule.

  3. 10:30

What you were going to ask is already in the record.

The appointment board shows who is waiting, who is in the visit and who has left. When you open the record, the information the patient provided is organized for your assessment.

  4. 10:42

The laboratory PDF becomes a trend.

She uploaded her report exactly as the laboratory delivered it. You read it with one click and confirm each value before it is added to the record, next to the values from previous reports.

  5. 11:05

The patient leaves with a printed plan.

Prescription, test orders and supplementation as PDF documents, with the physician's professional license and your logo.

  6. 11:12

Payment and invoicing, connected to the visit.

What was provided during the visit goes to checkout. In Mexico, if the patient asks for a tax invoice, you issue the CFDI 4.0 with their tax ID; the deposit that secured the appointment is already applied.

  7. 20:00

    The end-of-day close, without spreadsheets.

What came in and by which payment method, and what is still outstanding.

  8. +30 days

Before the follow-up visit, a new assessment.

The patient answers the questionnaire again and the new result is kept in the record with the earlier ones. The next visit also starts before the patient arrives.

Clinical information, connected over time.

Choose which sections each clinician uses, what the patient completes and what stays for professional use only. Questionnaires are scored automatically and keep their instrument-specific interpretation, and every administration remains in the record: when you open one, you see how many times the patient answered it before and when. Laboratory reports become a trend for each biomarker.

  • Structured history based on Mexico's NOM-004 clinical record standard
  • Diagnoses coded with ICD-10
  • Visit notes are closed when the visit ends and can no longer be edited
  • Reliable patient identification, including patients without a Mexican CURP or from abroad
  • Each user sees what they need, with roles and permissions by section
  • Encrypted files and secure connections

One report at a time does not show a trend.

Patients have their tests done at different laboratories, and each one delivers its results in its own format. Oolara reads that report, whether your practice uploads it or the patient does from the patient portal, and places each value next to the previous values of the same biomarker. The original file, the PDF exactly as the laboratory issued it, is always kept.

  • Uploaded by your practice or by the patient from the portal, exactly as the laboratory delivered it
  • You request the reading with one button, on the report you need
  • Did the patient bring five reports? Read them all with one click; before it starts, it tells you how many readings it will use
  • Biomarker, value, unit, reference range, flag and date are taken from the results sheet
  • Nothing enters the record without your review: extracted values wait in «Results to confirm»
  • A chart of each biomarker over time, even when the reports come from different laboratories
  • If a laboratory uses a format we cannot read yet, we add it and the pending reports are processed again
  • The 200 onboarding readings per physician, granted when you subscribe, are meant for exactly that: uploading the reports patients already had

Formats we already recognize are read within your portal; others only when you request it, with the provider named below. The physician confirms, not the patient.

Vitamin D (25-OH) ng/mL · one patient, six reports Reference range 50 30 10 42 Lab 1 Lab 2 Lab 1 Lab 3 Lab 4 Lab 2 Four different laboratories · one line
Illustrative example of a biomarker trend chart.

And when a report arrives in a format we have never seen.

Formats we already know are read within your portal. For the ones we do not, since each laboratory prints its own, you can request an assisted reading: the text of the report is processed by an external artificial intelligence provider, currently Claude by Anthropic, and comes back as biomarker, value, unit and reference range.

It comes back as a proposal, not a diagnosis. Each extracted value waits in «Results to confirm» until a physician accepts it, and the original PDF stays available for comparison. Oolara organizes; the clinician interprets.

Each active physician has 8 readings per month at no cost, plus 200 when you subscribe to bring patients' history up to date. After that, each reading costs 2 credits: assisted reading is not included in any plan. And if they run out, nothing is blocked: reports are still read with the formats we already recognize.

Recreation of the notice the physician sees while the report is being read.

Each laboratory delivers its own results sheet. The patient's progress is one.

Patients take an active role in their care.

Through a portal carrying your practice's identity, patients complete their information, answer questionnaires and upload laboratory reports. They arrive better prepared for the visit and stay in touch with your care team. Oolara works in the background.

  • Complete their clinical history and questionnaires
  • Confirm appointments by email or with one tap on WhatsApp
  • Upload the reports their laboratory sends them
  • Access the documents you share with them
  • Download their invoices in PDF and XML
  • Each clinician has a profile page with social links and a QR code

Frequently asked questions.

No. Oolara originated in the needs of functional and integrative medicine, and its configurable structure allows other practices to use the tools relevant to their work. Clinical histories, questionnaires and documents are configured per clinician, so each one works with their own while the practice keeps a single operation. Feature availability depends on the plan and practice configuration.

Patients can complete the sections of their clinical history that you enable, answer their questionnaires, upload their laboratory reports, see their appointments, access the documents you share with them, see their clinicians and download their invoices in PDF and XML. They confirm appointments from the email or WhatsApp reminder. What they see and can do depends on your portal configuration.

No. Oolara organizes values and helps clinicians review trends over time. Assisted extraction presents information for review; clinicians confirm the data and provide the clinical interpretation.

With our own reading rules, one for each laboratory format we recognize: the system locates the results table in the PDF and takes the biomarker, value, unit, reference range and study date. It does not matter how the patient received the file; uploading it to the portal is enough. Formats we already recognize are read within your portal. When a format is not recognized, reading can rely on a specialized external provider, currently Claude by Anthropic, which receives the text of the report to process it; this happens only when you request it, never when the file is uploaded. No result is added to the record until a physician confirms it. Scanned images and narrative reports, such as an ultrasound or a pathology report, are stored, viewed and downloaded as documents, but they are not converted into values for charting.

Oolara includes configurable histories and sections: you choose which sections each clinician uses, what the patient completes and what stays for professional use only. With Forms (Growth plan) you can build and publish your own sections and questionnaires from the portal. If you prefer support, we review the format you already use during onboarding.

Yes, and you can take the first step yourself: if your patients are in your phone's address book or your Google contacts, export the file and upload it from the portal. They are added with their name, phone and email, at no cost and on any plan, and you can download your full directory again at any time. For anything else, such as a database with clinical history or an export from another system, there are onboarding services whose scope depends on the format, volume and condition of that information. Yes. It is designed for practices and clinics with several professionals: each clinician has their own hours, schedule, clinical history and permissions, while the practice keeps a single operation. You can also settle fees with associated professionals.

They see yours. The portal is customized with your practice's logo and visual identity, and that identity carries over to the patient portal, clinical documents and the emails patients receive. Oolara works in the background.

No. The 30-day trial is free and does not ask for a credit card, and a promotional code can extend it to 60 or 90 days. When it ends, you decide whether to continue and choose a plan. Your data stays in place. The trial does not renew automatically.

The electronic invoicing module supports Mexico's CFDI 4.0 system, the tax invoice that is stamped through Mexico's Tax Administration Service (SAT). Practices outside Mexico can register from Latin America, Spain, the United States and Canada and use scheduling, records, the patient portal, payments and reports, but they need a billing system appropriate to their country. Prices are in Mexican pesos, and the application is currently available in Spanish.

Your patients' records live in your portal, separate from any other practice. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), and each member of your team sees only what their role allows; clinician-only sections of the clinical history stay hidden even from the patient. Nothing from the record goes to third parties unless you request it: assisted reading of a report, only when you request it, sends its text to the AI provider named in the laboratory section; and when you connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, only the patient's name and phone, the area and the time travel to the event, never diagnoses, notes, prescriptions or tax data. The platform runs on Amazon Web Services, and you can download your invoices in PDF and XML and your clinical documents in PDF at any time. Details are in our privacy notice ES.
